Event Name: Speaker—Immaculee Ilibigazie: A Rwandan Genocide Survivor Immaculee Ilibagiza is a 1994 Rwandan Genocide survivor. It was while she was home from school on Easter break in 1994 that her life was transformed forever. Her personal witness will allow you to experience a message of Faith, Hope, and Forgiveness. As she hid in a cramped 3 X 4 foot bathroom for 91 days with seven other women, killers lurked just outside the door. The event is free, however there will be a donation bucket available for those who want to financially contribute to the cost. Event starts at 7:00 p.m. and doors open at 6:30 p.m. on June 17th at the Jay County High School.
